Gyara Trülku ( Tib . : rgya ra sprul sku ) is one of the incarnation series of the Gelug School of Tibetan Buddhism . The traditional seat of the Trulkus is the monastery Chamdo Champa Ling (Tib .: chab mdo byams pa gling ) in Chengguan , where the Phagpa Lha is also based. The first representative of the series was Sherab Phüntshog (rgya ra grub chen shes rab phun tshogs; 1566-1632). The eighth representative of this series died in 1976.
