Gym for Life Challenge
The Gym for Life Challenge is a gymnastics festival organized by the World Gymnastics Federation ( FIG ), which takes place every four years. In contrast to the Gymnaestrada , in which the gymnastics performances are not measured against each other, winners are determined at the Gym for Life.
The next Gym for Life Challenge will take place from 14.-17. July in Lisbon, Portugal.

Each participating group will be rewarded with gold, silver and bronze. So there are no losers in the Gym for Life Challenge. At the end of an eventful day, all gold medalists fought in the final gala for the official world title, which will be awarded for the next four years.

The groups are evaluated according to the following criteria:
- General impression
- Entertainment value
- Innovation, originality and versatility
- Technique (quality and skill)
Each group receives feedback from a team of experts (2-4 people) and is rated gold, silver or bronze.
The participants compete in four categories:
- Gymnastics and Dance - 20 or fewer participants
- Gymnastics and dance - 21 or more participants
- Demonstration with equipment - 20 or fewer participants
- Demonstration with equipment - 21 or more participants
Others
In addition to the competition, the groups can also take part in workshops. Furthermore, city demonstrations take place in various public places to give the locals and tourists an insight.
