Héctor Pérez Plazola
Héctor Pérez Plazola (born July 2, 1933 in El Grullo , Jalisco , † June 10, 2015 in Guadalajara ) was a Mexican politician and member of the Partido Acción Nacional . He was mayor (Presidente Municipal) of Guadalajara and since 2006 Senator for Jalisco.
Between 1980 and 1983 and 1995 to 1998 he was a member of the Jalisco Parliament. From 1985 to 1988 and 1991 to 1994 he was a member of the Mexican Congress . In 2000 he was mayor of Guadalajara. In 2006 he was elected Senator of the Mexican Congress for Jalisco. He died on June 10, 2015, a few weeks before his 82nd birthday in a hospital in Guadalajara.
