The Hôtel de Bassompierre in Paris , the French capital, is a Hôtel particulier in the 3rd arrondissement . In 1920, the city palace at 23 Place des Vosges was added to the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique .

The house was built by Claude Parfait in the early 17th century. In 1734 it was connected to the neighboring house, the Hôtel du Cardinal de Richelieu .

Particularly noteworthy is the staircase from the time of construction with rich decorations.
