The Hôtel de la gabelle (French gabelle for salt tax ) in La Roche-Guyon , a French commune in the Val-d'Oise department in the Île-de-France region , was built in the 18th century. The stone building is on Rue du l'Hospice.

During the Ancien Régime, the building was used to store salt in a room that was sold by royal officials because of the state salt monopoly .

Today the building houses the tourist information ( syndicat d'initiative ).
