The Höftsee is a lake in Holstein Switzerland . It lies in the course of the Schwentine east of the city of Plön between the Behler See and the Großer Plöner See . It is 18 hectares in size, up to 16 m deep and about 22 m above sea level. NN .
Taking advantage of the gradient between Höftsee and Great Plöner See, there is a watermill on Höftsee . The associated weir is impassable for boats . But there is a boat slide there, which makes it much easier to transport boats overland.
