Höganäs BK is a Swedish football club from Höganäs . The club played in the Swedish second division for several years .
history
Höganäs BK was founded in 1913. First, the team came under class, before they rose in 1931 as the season winner of the then third-class Division 3 Sydsvenska after success in the promotion games against Krokslätts FF in the second division. After initially having to survive in the relegation battle, the team established itself in the middle of the table area of the southern season and stayed at the second level for 14 seasons. The descent with Bromölla IF in 1945 was followed by two wins in the promotion round against Varberg's BoIS, the direct rise. Again the team sat down in the middle of the table until they achieved the best result in the club's history in the season 1952/53 as second in the south-western season. She could not confirm the success and slipped into relegation battle in the following years. In 1960 she again missed relegation in the second division and subsequently crashed into fourth division.
Höganäs BK commuted several times between the third and fourth league level in the 1960s. After the rise in 1969, the team established itself in the third division in the front area and often just barely missed the promotion games to the second division. The brief upturn was followed in 1973 by another fall into the fourth division, as a result of which she was promoted to the elevator team again . In 1986 the club fell victim to a league reform and was relegated to fifth division. As a result, the team disappeared from higher-class football. Since she rose again to the fifth division in the 2003 season, she was able to stabilize in the league.
