Bondage (psychology)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As bondage one describes the temporary or permanent submission of one's own will to the will of a second person. Submission can be forced or more or less voluntary. In contrast to obedience , a psychologically dependent relationship is the reason for following the wishes of the other person or for blindly believing in what they say. The basis of this type of addiction can be sexual or psychological. As a rule, if outsiders are in bondage, improper use of the dependency relationship is perceived, e.g. B. in prostitution .
