Ferdi Sabit Soyer
Ferdi Sabit Soyer (born March 5, 1952 in Nicosia ) was Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus from 2005 to 2009 and chairman of the Cumhuriyetçi Türk Partisi from 2005 to 2011 .
Soyer was elected to the Assembly of the Republic in 1985 and 1993 for the Cumhuriyetçi Türk Partisi . In 1994 he was appointed to the Ministry of Agriculture (until 1995). In 1998 he was re-elected to parliament for the Famagusta district. After Mehmet Ali Talâts was elected president in April 2005, Soyer replaced him as prime minister.
He is married and has two children.
