Sibel Siber (* 1960 in Lefkoşa ) is a Turkish-Cypriot politician from the Turkish Republican Party (CTP). She was Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus from June 13 to September 2, 2013 . From September 2013 to January 2018 she was President of the North Cypriot Parliament . Siber ran in the 2015 presidential elections in Northern Cyprus as a candidate for the Cumhuriyetçi Türk Partisi , but failed in the first round.

Siber began studying medicine at Istanbul University in 1979 , which she completed with a doctorate in 1983. She then practiced at a clinic for internal medicine. In 1989 she received a scholarship from the University of Virginia and in 2000 a Fulbright scholarship from Rush University in Chicago.

In 1994 she was elected to the North Cypriot parliament. After the overthrow of Prime Minister İrsen Küçük's government in June 2013, she became Prime Minister of a transitional government of CTP, DP and TDP from June 13 to September 2, 2013 .

Although her party, the CTP, became the strongest party in the parliamentary elections on July 28 and achieved the best individual result, Siber was not a member of Özkan Yorgancıoğlu's new cabinet . In September 2013 she was elected President of the Assembly of the Republic . Teberruken Uluçay became her successor in January 2018.
