Remarks:

The early parliamentary elections in Northern Cyprus took place on July 28, 2013.

The early parliamentary elections in the internationally unrecognized Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus became necessary after the government of Prime Minister İrsen Küçük lost the majority in parliament in May 2013 . Eight MPs had left his National Unity Party (UBP) and his government lost a vote of no confidence in parliament on June 5th. On June 11, 2013, President Derviş Eroğlu instructed Social Democrat Sibel Siber to form a transitional government. On June 23, 2013, Sibel Siber was elected Prime Minister of an interim government. She was the first woman to hold this position and was able to rely on a government made up of the Turkish Republican Party (CTP), Democratic Party (DP) and Social Democracy Party (TDP).

A total of five parties ran for the early parliamentary elections. The United Cyprus Party (BKP) failed, however, at the 5 percent hurdle.
