The Birleşik Kıbrıs Partisi (German United Cyprus Party ) is a political party in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus .

history

The party came into being in 2003 when a group around the politician Özker Özgür split off from the Yeni Kıbrıs Partisi . This group originally came from the Turkish Republican Party , which Özgür was chairman between 1976 and 1996. In the parliamentary election on July 27, 2013, she achieved 3.15% of the vote and could not win any of the 50 seats in the North Cypriot parliament .
