Joachim "Hübi" Hübner (* 1945 in Berlin ; † January 18, 2014 ibid) was a German musician .

Career

Before his chart success, Hübi was active in the Berlin bands The Twangy Gang, The Q, Wednesday and Murphy, Murphy & Murphy, among others . In 1981 he covered the song Stop the Cavalry by Jona Lewie under the German title Das Lied von der Bundeswehr - Black, Red, Blond and Schnuckelig and rose to 61st place in the German single charts after a hit parade in June 1981.
