Hüsnü Şenlendirici (* 1976 in Bergama ) is a Turkish musician. He comes from a traditional family of musicians: his grandfather Hüsnü Şenlendirici played the clarinet and trumpet, the other grandfather Fahrettin Köfteci clarinet, his father Ergün Şenlendirici the trumpet.

Life

In 1988 Hüsnü Şenlendirici started his studies at the State Conservatory for Turkish Music at the Technical University of Istanbul , which he finished in 1992 without a degree. He played in drummer Okay Temiz's Magnetic Band and has performed at hundreds of festivals in Turkey.

He also toured with the German group Embryo and recorded albums with them. In addition, he was a member of the band Laço his father Ergün Şenlendirici. He plays traditional belly dance music with his own ensemble, Sulukule . In addition, he directed the bands Laço Tayfa and Hüsnü Şenlendirici ve Saz Arkadaşları , with whom he gave numerous concerts at home and abroad and took part in festivals. He accompanies many musicians of Turkish music, including Turkish pop and jazz, at their concerts and album recordings. With the group Laço Tayfa he released the album Bergama Gaydası . In 2005 his solo album Hüsn-ü Klarnet was released . He also presents a music program on TRT . He can also be heard on the album Harikalar Diyari (Wonderland) by İlhan Erşahin .
