H2O - Mermaid Adventures (Original title: H2O - Mermaid Adventures) is a French cartoon series from 2014. The series is an adaptation of the television series H2O - Suddenly Mermaid .

The three teenagers Cleo, Rikki and Emma can transform themselves into mermaids in a few seconds when they come into contact with water . They can now speak underwater and communicate with other sea creatures. They become part of their marine community and experience many adventures with a singing jellyfish, the racing dolphins and the hermit crab who lug around a blue car as an enclosure and often accompanies them.

Production and publication

The series was first broadcast on May 22, 2015 on the video-on-demand provider Netflix . The German first broadcast took place on August 28, 2015 KiKA . Other broadcasts were also made on ZDF and several video-on-demand providers. Several DVDs , CDs and books on the stories of the mermaids were also released. Directed by Tian Xiao Zhang and senior producer was Denis Olivieri.
