The planet was captured using the radial velocity method by Geoffrey Marcy et al. discovered in 2004 .
Circulation and mass
The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 3.79 astronomical units and has a mass of approx. 597.7 Earth masses or 1.88 Jupiter masses.
