The planet was determined using the radial velocity method by Paul Butler et al. discovered in 2006 .

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 2.11 astronomical units and has a mass of approx. 114.4 Earth masses or 0.36 Jupiter masses.
