HD 28185 b

HD 28185 b is an exoplanet orbiting the yellow dwarf HD 28185 . Due to its high mass , it is assumed that it is a gas planet .

In 2001 Santos et al. the discovery of the exoplanet using the radial velocity method .

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits the central star with a period of 383  days at a distance of approx. 1.0 astronomical units and has a mass of approx. 5.7 Jupiter's masses.
