HD 70642 b is an exoplanet that orbits the yellow dwarf HD 70642 every 2068 days . It was discovered using the radial velocity method. The planet was discovered by Brad D. Carter et al. discovered in 2003. The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 3.23 astronomical units with an eccentricity of 0.034 and has a minimum mass of approx. 600 earth masses or 2 Jupiter masses.
