Hitler Youth Knife
The airspeed indicator of the HJ was after the seizure of power by the Nazis in the summer of 1933 in the Hitler Youth and the Young People's introduced, but was not a prescribed part of the uniform.
The basic shape of the knife was based on the military bayonets with a metal scabbard with their ability to be worn on the belt (i.e. belt). Until August 1938 the motto " Blood and Honor !" Was etched into the knife blades . After the Second World War , the manufacturers continued to use the existing production facilities and made the knife for scouts . The Nazi symbols were mostly replaced by the boy scout lily .

Carrying method
The Hitler Youth travel knife should be carried with the harness (hip belt 88 cm, shoulder belt 80.5 cm) on the back left hip. The HJ emblem should be on the outside.
Authorization to wear the Hitler Youth's travel knife was acquired by taking the Pimpfenprobe .
Manufacturer
The HJ travel knives could be purchased in the licensed retail trade of the Reichszeugmeisterei for 4 RM .
The knife was manufactured at a large number of licensed production facilities, whereby the embossed RZM number enabled a clear assignment. Some of these manufacturers were:
