At least three ships of the British Royal Navy were named HMS Cherub after the cherubim ( angels ).
- the first HMS Cherub was a sloop with 424 tons and 18 cannons, launched in 1806 and retired in 1820 (?).
- the second HMS Cherub was a gunboat launched in 1860 and sold in 1890.
- the third HMS Cherub was a gunboat (?) stationed in the Far East in the 1920s.
