HMS Prince of Wales
HMS Prince of Wales is the name of seven warships of the British Royal Navy , named after the Prince of Wales (German: Prince of Wales).
- The first HMS Prince of Wales was a third rank ship of the line with 74 cannons , launched in 1765 and demolished in 1783
- The second HMS Prince of Wales was a second rank ship of the line with 98 cannons, launched in 1794 and demolished in 1822
- The third HMS Prince of Wales was a 38-gun transport ship, acquired in 1795 and still on the list in 1801, further history unknown
- The fourth HMS Prince of Wales was an Indian 14-gun sloop weighing 248 t, launched in 1805 at Bombay Dockyard , its fate is unknown
