HMS Trident
Six ships of the British Royal Navy have been named HMS Trident or HMS Trydent ( Engl. : Trident ):
- HMS Trydent (1695) was afourth class ship of the line equipped with 58 cannons. The former French Trident was captured in 1695 andsunkas a breakwater in 1702.
- HMS Trydent (1747) was a third class ship of the line equipped with 64 cannons. The former French Trident wascaptured by the Britishin 1747 during the War of the Austrian Succession and sold in 1763.
- HMS Trident (1768) was a third class ship of the line equipped with 64 cannons. The ship was launched in Portsmouth in 1768 and sold in 1816.
- HMS Trident (1845) was a sloop . The ship was built in Blackwall in 1845 and scrapped in 1866.
- HMS Trident (1915) was a destroyer of Talisman class . The ship was originally intended for the Ottoman Navy, was launched in 1915, was used in World War I and sold for scrapping in 1921.
- HMS Trident (N52) was a submarine of the T-class . The boat was launched in 1938 and sold in 1946.
