history
The house was founded in 2005 under the name International Transaction Services GmbH as a joint transaction bank of HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt AG and T-Systems Enterprise Services GmbH. At the beginning of 2008, the HSBC Trinkaus Group took over all shares in International Transaction Services GmbH. In April 2010 the name was changed to HSBC Transaction Services GmbH.
Field of activity
HSBC Transaction Services GmbH carries out securities-related processes, for example
- Migration: Implementation of timely and cost-efficient migrations
- Order management: order management, disposition and routing
- Business processing: Real-time processing as a complete service
- Depot service: corporate event processing, depot transfers, legal reporting, reconciliation, etc.
technology
The central securities settlement platform essentially consists of the integrated online system for securities and derivative transactions GEOS (Global Entity Online System) from the manufacturer Software Daten Service GmbH (SDS), the MBS Tax compensation control module of the MBS Open system (MBS = Modular Bank Standard) from Manufacturer Sopra Banking Software and a middleware developed in-house by HSBC Transaction Services, which communicates with them in the system network and, among other things, also provides the interfaces to external market participants such as stock exchanges or custodians.
The entire platform is consistently multi-tenant. This means that the securities business of several banks can be processed in parallel on a single technical instance, taking into account all the requirements imposed by auditing or supervisory law.
