The HSV Bad Blankenburg is a handball club from the Thuringia Bad Blankenburg .
The 1st men's team won the championship in the handball Oberliga Mitteldeutschland in the 2012/13 season with 26 wins without losing points and rose to the 3rd division in the 2013/14 season . In 2016 Bad Blankenburg returned to the league. A year later, the team succeeded in immediate promotion.
