HSV GTS (2007)

The HSV GTS is a high performance luxury sedan that has been manufactured by Holden Special Vehicles in Australia since 1992 . The cars are essentially based on the respective high-volume models of the Holden Commodore . The latest variant, based on the Holden VE Commodore, is powered by the 6.2 l V8 engine GM-LS3, which produces 431 bhp (317 kW) and achieves a torque of 550 Nm. Buyers can choose between a manual six-speed gearbox or a six-speed automatic. The cars with manual gearboxes reach 0-100 km / h in 4.96 s, those with automatic in 5.05 s.

E series

Up until the launch of the E series, the HSV GTS always had more powerful engines than the other HSV models. The E-series, however, has the same GM-LS3 engine as the cheaper Clubsport and the more luxurious Senator . Essentially, the electrically adjustable MagneRide chassis distinguishes the GTS of the E-series from its sister models . In the GTS, the MagneRide can be adjusted between sport and track, in club sports it is not available and in the Senator it is trimmed for luxury.
