HSV SV88

The HSV SV88 was the first attempt by Holden Special Vehicles in Australia in 1988 to build a sporty luxury car based on a Holden . It was based on the Holden Calais . The engine made 13.6 bhp (10 kW) more than the production engine. The power was 185 bhp (136 kW) and the torque was 355 Nm. There was also slight body tuning (the sills were painted in the body color - Dorward blue). In addition to the special equipment available from Holden, a car phone and fax machine could also be ordered.
