The HSV Unteroffiziersschule Mewe was a football club from the small town of Gniew (Eng. Mewe ) in occupied Poland during the Second World War .

history

The HSV was in season 1943-44 Master of the Circle group Tczew / Konitz . This allowed the team to participate in the promotion round for the 1944/45 season of the Gauliga Danzig-West Prussia . After four games played, the club then ended the season in first place, which allowed promotion. In the following Gauliga season, however, the team withdrew from the game in August 1944 and all results were canceled.

With the surrender of the German Reich at the end of World War II , Gniew and Mewe fell back to Poland. At the latest then the association was dissolved.
