The HTC Würzburg is a hockey and tennis club from the Lower Franconian city of Würzburg , although tennis is not operated as a tournament sport. In 1992 the HC Würzburger Kickers was renamed HTC Würzburg and took on the active members of the TG Würzburg hockey department. The reasons for this cooperation were space problems on the part of the TG and staff shortages in the men's area at the Kickers. The women's kickers' team were among the most successful teams in Germany in the 1940s and 1950s, with German championship titles in 1941, 1952, 1953, 1955 and 1956.
In the 2018/19 season the men will play on the field and in the hall in the 1st Regionalliga Süd. In addition, the 2nd men play on the field in the 1st Association League Northern Bavaria. The women are members of the Oberliga Bayern on the field and in the hall. Successful work can also be seen in the youth sector. The club's youth department now includes over 200 girls and boys. In 2011 the anniversary “100 Years of Hockey in Würzburg” was celebrated.
The HTC Würzburg facility includes an artificial hockey turf field and three tennis courts.
