The higher technical college in Ried im Innkreis (HTL Ried) is a higher technical college in the town of Ried im Innkreis in Upper Austria .
Mechanical engineering
At the HTL Ried, the field of mechanical engineering is offered as a day form, which is managed as a higher department and thus concludes with the Matura . The strength of this department lies in the well-founded basics that are imparted to the students in a practical way. The knowledge that the well-coordinated objects mechanics , machine elements , production engineering , construction (technology) , electrical engineering and electronics are purchased, form the basis for further specialization.

Evening school automation technology
The eight-semester HTL for working people (evening school) focuses on automation technology . The evening school starts every second year with a new class, the next start in the school year 2018/2019.
history
The HTL was founded with the founding director Ernest Miesbauer in 2002 in close cooperation with the economy as well as the city of Ried and companies from the surrounding communities. New and unique is the relocated practical training, which is carried out in the partner companies in the first year. In this way, the students have the opportunity to make contacts with business in the first year.
