The Hague Conference on Private International Law ( HCCH ) is a permanent body founded in 1893 with the task of working on the progressive unification of the rules of private international law . Since the end of the 19th century, they have passed a number of conventions (agreements).

  1. the Convention on the Settlement of Questions of Private International Law (November 14, 1896)
  2. the agreement regulating the scope of the laws in the field of marriage (June 12, 1902 - terminated by Germany with effect from June 2, 2019)
