Habau ( own spelling HABAU ) based in Perg ( Upper Austria ) is a construction company .

history

The foundation stone for the development of the Habau group of companies was the registration of a construction company master mason trade by Vinzenz Halatschek in Hohenfurth ( Vyšší Brod in today's Czech Republic ) in 1913 . This continued his activity after the establishment of Czechoslovakia in Perg .

Erich Halatschek took over his father's business in 1950 and brought him in 1955 in which, together with his brother Georg Heindl (Director Poschacher in Mauthausen ), founded Ing. Erich Halatschek & Co. OHG , which new business areas with equipment rental, mechanical earthmoving and civil construction began. In 2005 Erich Halatschek was made an honorary citizen of the city of Perg.

Today's Habau Hoch- und Tiefbaugesellschaft mbH was founded on September 5, 1989 , whose shareholders are currently 60% Halatschek Holding GmbH (founded in 2000; owned by the Halatschek family, managing director Peter Halatschek) and 40% Heindl Holding GmbH (founded 1998; owned by the Heindl family, managing director Georgine Rumpler-Heindl). Erich Halatschek jun., The son of Erich Halatschek (1925–2014), chairs the supervisory board at HABAU.
