Habib M. Mohamed (born December 10, 1983 in Tamale ) is a Ghanaian football player .

Mohamed is a young defender who attracted attention when he was just under 20. In 2006 he had his big breakthrough. Until 2006, the defender played on the right side of the defense at the top Ghanaian club King Faisal Babes from Kumasi , including in the African Confederations Cup , where he was the best player in the game in the semifinals, although he was eliminated with his team.

Without having previously played in the youth selection or the World Cup qualification, Habib Mohamed was included in Ghana's World Cup line-up for the 2006 World Cup in Germany, where he even played over 90 minutes for the Ghanaian national team twice , before he was out due to injury.

From 2006 he tried to move abroad and after the move to Israel and Germany did not materialize, he finally got a three-year contract with the Norwegian first division club Molde FK .

For the 2007/08 season he moved to MKE Ankaragücü in Turkey .
