Hadia Mohamed Hosny El Said (born July 30, 1988 in Cairo ; Arabic هادية محمد حسني السعيد) is a badminton player from Egypt .

Career

At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , Hadia Hosny took part in the individual badminton tournament . In the first round she won against Deyanira Angulo from Mexico with 2-1 sets. She lost the following game against Petya Nedelcheva from Bulgaria with 0-2 sets.

At the 2007 World Cup and the 2009 World Cup , she was eliminated in round one. At the Kenya International 2009 she was defeated in the quarterfinals against Stacey Doubell from South Africa. In 2010 Hadia Hosny won the African Championships in women's singles. With the women's team, she came second at the same event.

At the 2012 Olympics , she was eliminated in the group stage.

In 2013 she won the mixed at Botswana International together with Abdelrahman Kashkal .
