Hafaza

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hafaza ( Arabic حفظة, DMG ḥafaẓa or alsoحافظون / ḥāfiẓūn ) or guardian angels are helper angels according to Islamic tradition , who are entrusted with the task of protecting people against jinn and evil spirits. According to tradition, they are in front of and behind every person, so that a total of four Hafaza watch over him as guardian angels , two during the day and two during the night. In the dusk and dawn the guard of each change hafaza ; In these unprotected moments the evil spirits have the greatest opportunity to exercise their influence on people.

Another class of helper angels are the scribe angels ( al-Kiram al-Katibun ), who record the good and bad deeds of every person. On judgment day , their records will be used to determine whether the person is worthy to be admitted to paradise .
