Erich Hagenah

Erich Hagenah (born November 8, 1898 in Itzehoe ; † December 25, 1984 ) was a German teacher and politician ( SPD ).

Life

After graduating from high school, Hagenah attended the teachers' seminar in Lübeck and studied at the University of Hamburg . In 1920 he joined the SPD. In the same year he became a primary school teacher in Cuxhaven and later worked in Bergedorf and Hamburg.

From 1927 to 1933 he was a member of the city ​​council in Cuxhaven. He was also a member of the Hamburg State Committee from 1931 to 1933. In 1948 he was elected to the city council of Pinneberg , from 1958 he was a member of the district council of the Pinneberg district . He continued his professional career as a qualified commercial teacher in Cuxhaven and Pinneberg and was director of the district vocational school in Pinneberg from 1953 to 1961.

In 1958 he was elected to the Landtag of Schleswig-Holstein in the Pinneberg-Ost constituency; In 1962 he entered the state parliament via the SPD state list and was a member of it until April 1967. He was a member of various committees, including the Judiciary Committee, the Transport Committee, the Popular Education Committee, and the Constitutional and Internal Regulations Committee.

Hagenah was married and had one child.
