Haicheng (Anshan)

Haicheng ( Chinese 海 城市 , Pinyin Hǎichéng Shì ) is a county-level city that belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture -level city of Anshan in northeast China 's Liaoning Province . The city has an area of 2732 km² and has a population of 1.147 million (2010).
The Paleolithic Xianrendong site of Haicheng ( Haicheng Xianrendong yizhi海 城 仙人洞 遗址) and the Bronze Age dolmens of Ximucheng ( Ximucheng shipeng析木 城 石棚) have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 2001 .
The large Haicheng- magnesite - deposit located on its territory.
