Hair and Beauty

The Hair and Beauty in Frankfurt am Main is the trade fair for the hair cosmetic industry and the hairdressing and cosmetic trade.

Hair and Beauty is also the venue for the German Hairdressing and Cosmetics Championships, which are held by the fair's partner and ideal sponsor, the Central Association of the German Hairdressing Trade. The championships are a training tool used by around 120 participants each year.

history

The Hair and Beauty was held every two years from 1993 to 2006 by previous organizers at the Frankfurt exhibition center. It has been an annual in-house event of Messe Frankfurt since 2007 . From 2011 the topic of beauty will be repositioned in Frankfurt: the offer of the former Beautyworld Frankfurt will be integrated into the Ambiente and the Hair and Beauty. The more nationally oriented service providers will be integrated into Hair and Beauty, which will now cover the topics of hair, make-up and nails. The trade-oriented companies that are interested in international bulk buyers find a new home at the world's largest consumer goods fair, Ambiente.

Product portfolio

Hair & Beauty is divided into different product areas: Hair & Extensions , Salon & Tools, Make Up & Nails, Accessories & Fashion, Hairdressing Wholesale & Private Label, Education & Career, Institutions & Services.

The target groups and offer areas are Young Generation @ Training for schoolchildren and trainees, Talents @ Work for young hairdressers and start-ups, Professionals @ Business for professionals and salon owners, Beauty @ Salon for make-up artists, beauticians and nail designers.

Foreign events

The fair takes place in Frankfurt am Main, Japan, Osaka and Dubai.
