The Paperworld is the leading international trade fair for office, stationery . It has been taking place in Frankfurt am Main since 1990 . The fair offers manufacturers in these industries the opportunity to present their products. In 2018 the fair had 87,000 visitors.

history

Paperworld evolved from Messe Frankfurt's spring fair. In 1990 this was initially transferred to the two independent events Ambiente and Premiere, and in 1997 Paperworld established itself as an independent event. Christmasworld and Beautyworld had already been established as separate brands a year earlier. In 2009, the trade fairs opened as a quartet for the first time. In 2011 there were again adjustments. The retail-oriented exhibitors at Beautyworld were integrated into the Ambiente.

In 2011, Messe Frankfurt bought Remax from the previous owner Recycler Publishing & Events Ltd, London. Since the purchase, the Remax @ Paperworld trade fair has opened under the umbrella of Paperworld. In the previous year, Europe's largest trade fair for the recycling of printer accessories was held as a licensing event during Paperworld.

The fair takes place in Germany (Frankfurt am Main), China ( Shanghai and Hong Kong ), Russia ( Moscow ) and in the United Arab Emirates ( Dubai ).

Paperworld in Frankfurt is currently divided into different product areas:

  • Paperworld Office : Office equipment and equipment, organizational and presentation aids, office paper, writing and drawing equipment, IT and printer accessories
  • Paperworld Stationery : Gift items, Paperworld Scriptum, school supplies, greeting cards and picture calendars
