Hajo Wienroth

Hajo Wienroth is a German flautist and ensemble leader.

Wienroth studied modern flute at the University of Oldenburg . He expanded his training by studying the multi-key flute and transverse flute at the Academy for Early Music in Bremen with Marten Root . Master classes with Wilbert Hazelzet , Lisa Beznosiuk and Barthold Kuijken followed .

In 1995/96 he worked as a flautist in the European Baroque Orchestra . There was further collaboration with Reinhard Goebel , Roy Goodman and Jos van Veldhoven . Wienroth made music for television and radio stations in Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Denmark, France, England, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovenia. In addition to his concert activities, he has been building transverse flutes since 1994. He made numerous recordings with the ensemble "Le Chardon" he founded, which appears in small and large compositions and consists of experienced musicians such as the concertmaster Simon Standage .
