Wilbert Hazelzet

Wilbert Hazelzet (born November 20, 1948 in The Hague ) is a Dutch flautist.

After graduating from high school, he worked in various libraries and trained as a nurse. Encouraged by Kees Otten, Frans Vester and Frans Brüggen , he began playing the baroque transverse flute in 1970 and became a member of the Musica Antiqua Cologne under Reinhard Goebel in 1978 . Hazelzet has been principal flutist in Ton Koopman's Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra since 1985 . He not only recorded the entire chamber music work and almost all flute solos in the cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach , but also works by Georg Philipp Telemann , Wilhelm Friedemann Bach , Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and others. a. recorded.
