Hallberg-Rassy 31

The Hallberg-Rassy 31 is a deep sea sailing yacht that was produced by the Swedish shipyard Hallberg-Rassy . German Frers was responsible for the design . It had been in production since 1993 as the Hallberg-Rassy 31 Mk I , was upgraded to the Hallberg-Rassy Mk II in 2006 and was replaced by the Hallberg-Rassy 310 in 2009 .

construction

Mahogany was mainly used within the hull, which is covered with fiberglass-reinforced plastic ; there was space for a card table, a pantry , a dining room, a bathroom with shower and two double cabins, which can be found in the bow and aft. As a cover edition was teak used. The stern could be used as a bathing platform. A three-cylinder diesel engine with 18 hp from Volvo Penta was available as drive . The Germanischer Lloyd gave the Hallberg-Rassy 31, the seal of tested safety -sealed type certification for unlimited ocean journeys.
