The List of United States Ambassadors to Morocco provides an overview of the heads of the U.S. diplomatic mission in Morocco since 1906.
In the protectorate of French Morocco , the US government was represented by consuls in the international zone of Tangier with the Sultan of Morocco . The US consul of Tangier formed the government of the international zone of Tangier with the other consuls general of the signatory powers of the Algeciras conference .
