List of United States Ambassadors in Uzbekistan
The list of ambassadors of the United States in Uzbekistan provides an overview of the heads of the US diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan since 1992. The former Soviet Union republic declared itself independent on September 1, 1991; the United States recognized the new state on December 25th of that year. On 19 February 1992 the two countries established diplomatic relations before the US then on 16 March this year Embassy in Tashkent was opened, initially headed by Charge d'Affaires Michael Motor stand. With Henry Lee Clarke 's first official took Ambassador in September 1992 on his service.
