The list of the United States Ambassador in Ukraine provides an overview of the head of the US diplomatic mission in Ukraine since 1992. The United States Embassy in Kiev was on January 23 opened in 1992 and initially by Jon Gundersen as chargé headed . The first official ambassador began work in May of that year .
