The Halle au blé (German grain hall ) in Bourges , a French town in the Cher department in the Center-Val de Loire region , was built between 1832 and 1836. The market hall on Rue de la Halle has been on the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique since 1984 .

The hall was built according to plans by the city architect Juillien Barthélemy. The open inner courtyard, around which the building originally extended with arcades , was closed with a glass roof in 1892.
