European indoor hockey championship 2018

The 2018 European Indoor Hockey Championships was the 18th edition of the Men's Indoor Hockey Championships . It took place from January 12th to 14th in Antwerp , eight teams took part. The winner was the Austrian national team , which defeated the Belgians 2-1 in the penalty shootout in the final ; after the end of regular time it was 4: 4.

Relegation round

The teams that finished third or fourth in the preliminary round were divided into Group C. They took the result (goals, points) from the preliminary round, which they achieved against the opponent who was also divided. They played the two games against the other two group members.

The last two were relegated to the "B-EM 2020".
