The Austrian men's national hockey team represents Austria at international hockey tournaments such as hockey world championships and European championships .

The hockey team has so far participated three times in the Olympic Games (1928, 1948, 1952) and four times in the European field hockey championships (1970, 1974, 1983, 2009). The team has not yet qualified for the Champions Trophy and field hockey world championships.

The team won the European indoor hockey championship in 2010 and 2018, the indoor world championship for the first time on February 11, 2018, after which the team also took first place in the FIH indoor world rankings for the first time .
