The Australian selection at the 2008 Summer Olympics

The Australian national hockey team ( "Kookaburras" ) is one of the most successful hockey teams. It is the only Australian team to have won medals every time in the Summer Olympics from 1992 to 2012 and has consistently been in the top 4 since 1980.

Australia is currently number 1 in the world and Oceania rankings.
