The greatest success was achieved by South Korea at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, where the final was only lost to the Netherlands in the 7-meter shooting. The team finished fourth at the last two World Championships. On the continental level, titles were won at four Asian Games and two Asian Championships. In twelve international matches with Germany, South Korea has so far remained without a win in four draws.
